A physical day of exercises, play and exploration as well as some theory on the technology and methodology of how motion and performance capture works with industry veteran Richard “Mocapman” Dorton. This is a chance to build a solid foundation for working in performance capture.
This class does not take place in a mocap studio or in mocap suits as it would only serve as a distraction and additional cost at this stage.

Spend the day learning the difference between cinematic and In-game movement creation to discovering what animators and directors want out of their performance capture talent. Explore video game scripts, the importance of improv, the world of pure imagination and more tips and tricks than you would expect in an intro class from someone who’s been working in the Performance Capture world for over 25 years.

THE MOCAP VAULTS CANCELLATION POLICY
By Purchasing this class, you agree to our cancellation policy which states that we require a minimum of seven (7) days’ notice to qualify for a partial refund.
We will attempt to replace you in the event of a cancellation. If we can replace you, you will receive a refund minus Admin fee that amounts to 20% of your original payment for the class and PayPal has recently changed their terms and conditions and will no longer refund their transaction fee so this will be included in addition to the Admin fee. This means that you will receive the total, minus the Admin & PayPal fee, in the event of a refund.
If you cancel within Seven (7) days of the class and we cannot replace you, you will not receive a refund.
If you would like to carry over a credit for a class missed due to illness or other circumstances beyond The Mocap Vaults control, and agreed upon by the instructor, you will only be able to carry the credit over for the next following class that is offered on the date it is offered with no exceptions. After that, you will forfeit the credit and not be issued a refund.
