An afternoon of cinematic scene work using scripts that have been used in previous Cinematics Masterclasses. An excellent way to prepare for the last stages of the syllabus or keep your media specific tool set sharp.

You will be sent the scripts 48 hours before the class.

This class does not take place in a mocap studio or in mocap suits as it would only serve as a distraction and additional cost at this stage.

Mocap acting is total acting - so this class will inspire and invigorate your acting in all the genres you work in. This is the work that reclaims your ownership over your craft and your vocation as an actor with embodied and authentic range.

Venue: Game On Mocap Studio - 405 Av. Ogilvy B, Montréal, QC H3N 1M3

The studio is at the back of the complex. If arriving by car and the barrier is down, notify the desk that you are there for Game On. Drive to the back of the complex and park in the spots that face the white doors.

Tutors: Pascal Langdale

BIO: Pascal Langdale is an actor known for his reliable versatility across multiple media. He has worked in TV, Film, Video Game and Voice. He is a movement specialist with an expertise in nonverbal behavior, and brings his characters to life through voice, body and psychology - all adjusted to the demands of the medium.

Recent work includes Hondo Ohnaka (Star Wars) Far Cry 6 (complex Body doubling) and the voice of Bagley in Watch Dogs: Legion for which he was nominated for a Canadian Game Award.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We require seven days notice prior to the class in order to be able to offer you a refund. If you notify us within seven days of the class then we will try to find a replacement and refund you but cannot guarantee this will be possible.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR STUDENTS TRAVELLING LONG DISTANCES

Very rarely, for unexpected reasons, occasionally we don’t get the numbers of students we need to cover costs. This means that occasionally we may offer another MCV class or an entirely different class. This decision is normally made within 7 days of the class. Bear this in mind when booking flights or accommodation as we are not liable for these costs should we need to change the class that you are ineligible or do not want to attend.
