Designed for you to learn exactly what it takes, what to think about, and how to deliver what each decision-maker in the pipeline needs — ensuring that even if you don't get the job, the casting will be one that gets you invited back.

Before the masterclass: Selected students receive a submission breakdown with the same lead time you would have for a real casting. You record your self tape at home and send it to us to be shown at the start of the masterclass — allowing for a before-and-after record. Your self tape will also receive additional written feedback from Gareth Taylor, Paul-William Mawhinney, and Richard Dorton.

Instructor

Pascal Langdale - Pascal is a RADA-trained actor and Psychophysical Performance Specialist. Credits include Ethan Mars (Heavy Rain), Bagley in Watch Dogs: Legion (Canadian Game Award nomination), and Hondo Ohnaka in Star Wars Outlaws. He co-authored Performing for Motion Capture (Bloomsbury Methuen) and teaches through Collective Intent and as Head of Canadian Operations at The Mocap Vaults.

Note

Although this class takes place in a mocap studio, mocap suits and capture technology are not used at this stage - they serve only as a distraction. Technology is introduced later in the curriculum. Bring your own self tape equipment.

Cancellation Policy

Participants require a minimum of 7 days' notice for a partial refund. If replaceable: refund minus 20% admin fee plus any PayPal transaction fees. Within 7 days with no replacement: no refund. Observer spots are non-refundable and non-transferable. Credit carry-over is limited to the next available class on the date offered only.

We are not liable for travel or accommodation costs if a class must be changed due to insufficient numbers - this decision is normally made within 7 days of the class.
